Alistair Bailey

Several riders run their own websites which vary in information and maintenance. One of the best you will find is that belonging to Alastair Bayley at www.abrmotorsoport.co.uk . Here you will find a full version of the sketch written below, along with X Rays..........a guaranteed good read.
The familiar number and riding leathers of Aly Bailey are pictured above at Village Corner, Aintree during one of the few meetings he rode there last season. An extremely quick rider, he had two Championships at Tonfanau in 2004. This was all the more remarkable considering the amount of damage he sustained at the Black Dub in the previous year's Manx Grand Prix. This was the occasion for the photograph at the top of the page..willingly supplied by Alastair himself. Those with a medical bent might look on the site for the X-Rays of that left arm on admission to Noble's. The machine didn't do all that well either, as the shots show. However, 2005 beckons and bad memories fade. Most of next season will be taken up with Road Racing, using a pair of Hondas (the RVF400 and a new CBR600RR). The Southern 100 and the Manx are major targets, with appearances at Scarborough and Jurby also scheduled. Short circuit racing will be largely one-off events at Oulton Park, Aintree and Anglesey. A new departure for Aly will be competing in the KRC Endurance Championship on a Suzuki GSXR750K4 along with David Taylor and Paul Wilson. Fastrackimages wishes Alastair all the best for 2005, which, with a bit of good luck, might be the best yet!!
