Alistair Howarth

One of the great Privateers

Fastrackimages has received Ali Howarth's review of last season in which the sheer effort and determination of a rider to compete all over the UK on a limited budget parallels the efforts of so many of our beloved sport. Sponsored by a few dedicated and focused supporters, Alistair managed to win his first National race, gain two MGP replicas and a Preston Championship. Throughout he confronts the paddock with a broad smile and unassuming manner. He is in short, the essence of motorcycle racing. This season will follow the last, with the North west 200, the Manx GP and Scarborough at the top of the list, followed by Aberdare Park and 3 Sisters, Wigan. Fastrackimages wishes Ali the best.

He is sponsored by Roger and Mark at Road and Racing (Hyde) , a dealership which provided Ali's tyres for the MGP. Ali recommends their services to all concerned (it is an official Suzuki dealership). Roger and Trudi of  Mountain Magic in Morzine provided financial help last seaon as well as Andelle Motor Leathers, Tri - Tech, Brookside Garage, Sabden and Northwest Screen and design.   All of it comes under the name of       DDS Racing   (Demdike Developments Sabden).... Painting, Decorating and Tiling ......for those that don't know. Anyone wishing to find more about this astonishing outfit need only call 01282 775490 and get a review for themselves. Who knows, they might even want to spend a penny or two !!!!!!
